Terms of Service
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Threadory (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” means that organization.
The service
Threadory connects to tools you authorize, builds a knowledge graph from the resulting data, and proposes follow-through actions. Some workflows write back to your tools — opening an issue, posting a review comment — under the policy configured for your project. A policy may allow an action, deny it, or hold it for human approval.
The Service is under active development. Features may change, and availability is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime commitment unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Access and pilots
Access is currently arranged directly with us as a pilot. The Service takes no payment through this website, and no paid subscription is created by signing up. If we agree paid terms, they will be set out in a separate written agreement, which prevails over these terms where the two conflict.
Your content and ownership
The content you connect stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the Service for you: to fetch, store, index, and process that content, and to send the relevant excerpts to the model providers listed in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
You are responsible for having the right to connect the content you connect, including where it contains other people's personal data.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your account credentials, for who you invite into your organization and which roles you give them, for the connector credentials you supply, and for configuring which actions require approval before write-back. Approvals are a control we give you; whether to use them is your decision.
Do not use the Service to break the law, to access systems you are not authorized to access, or to attack the Service or its infrastructure.
Automated output
The Service generates summaries, answers, and proposed actions using large language models. This output can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently misleading, and it is not professional advice of any kind. Review it before you rely on it, and keep approval gates on any action whose consequences you would not accept unreviewed.
Retention and deletion
Connected content and the entities derived from it are retained while your project exists. Deleting a project removes it and its entities from our primary database. Audit records are deliberately kept beyond project deletion so the trail of who approved what survives, and are removed on the retention period your project configures, if any.
To have your remaining data deleted — including your account, and copies in the search index and backups — write to us via the contact page. We action such requests manually and aim to complete them within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for what each category covers.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your tools at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where continued use threatens the Service or other users. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you first.
Warranties and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent the law permits. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for lost profits or lost data, arising from use of the Service — including decisions taken, or actions written back to your tools, on the strength of its output.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The revision marker at the top of this page changes when we do. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email to the account contact on file; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
Contact
